This week seemed longer than it really was. I think I wanna call this week my roller coaster week because of so many up's and down's I had. This week was deffinately not my week, I have yet to hear anything good in the theaters right now. Someone fill me in. If you have been to the movies in the past week tell me about a new movie that is out and playing. If you haven't seen any movie tell me about your favorite movie and give me a brief description because if I'm interested I'll go out and watch it! :)
Have a good Winter Break guys!

A New one
I have not really posted about any of the new movies because I really haven't had the chance to go to the movies and watch what's out right now, but I did watch a commercial on a new upcoming movie. The movie is called The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which the main character is played by Brad Pitt. I'm sure the movie will be full of true Pitt fans.
The movie is about a man who is born in his 80s and ages backwards. Instead of being born as a baby he is born as an old man and by the years he gets younger and younger. Obviously I have not seen the movie yet because it hasn't come out, but the day it does, Christmas Day, I'm sure I'll be driving to the movie theaters to catch this one!
If you have seen the previews what do you think so far? Do you think it'll be a hit?

Oldies...
Today I got home @ around 7:30. We had a soccer game all the way @ American Heritage but the one in Delray, so it was a far drive and I was exhausted all day. We played a really good game and I'm proud of the way my team was able to come together for this game. Anyways my blog is not about my game, but about the movie I watched today. For some random reason in one of my conversations today on our way to the game I brought up the movie Teen Wolf and just started talking about it, so after the game on the way home from the game I decided it would be a good idea to watch it. From school I went to Chipotle (my favorite restaurant) and brought it home to enjoy with my movie.
For those who have not seen Teen Worl, it's with Michael J. Fox. The movie is about a teenager who is not such a popular teen in school, but finds out that him and his dad have kept a secret from him, which is that he is a warewolf! The movie is so great because it's based on a normal teenagers life back then and just one lucky kid was able to use his warewolf transformations to become more popular with the others. My favorite part is probably when Michael J. Fox is dancing on top of the truck to the song of "Surfing in the USA." It was great, that part just really made me laugh.
The reason I named this blog oldies is because it could be a bit hard to find this movie. See, the movie was reeleased in 1987, which most of us were not even in the process of becoming little babies. Also, I named it oldies because even though Michael was younger during this movie than he is now he looks so much older because the movie is older, I don't know, it's a weird thought of mine.
If you haven't seen this movie I suggest you try and find it and then sit @ home and watch it, you don't have to do the Chipotle part. :)

A Rainy Day...
Days like this are usually my chance to watch some movies and catch up with what's new, but this time I didn't have that chance. Now, I usually write to you guys about movies I have seen that are good and worth watching. Today with such a busy day I had no chance to even sit and think to myself so today is made for you guys. Tell me about a movie you guys have seen and can suggest to me or anyone else to watch. Make them interesting, usually the ones that people have never heard of are the ones people always want to check out. Fill me in, maybe on my next rainy day I'll have time to watch some. :)

Practice is about focus...
My whole day today was off, of course I started off with a bad morning so with a bad morning follws a bad day. My day's yet to be over and I feel like everything has been sucked out of me. Nothing felt like it was really working out. I got to soccer practice hoping things would get a little better so I could have a good practice, but boy was I wrong. I felt like there was no point of even still trying because everything that came my way was just crap. Everything was negative, I don't think even one single good thing happened today. Now I get to sit @ work and wait until it's time to go home to do 50 million different things. I know today I won't have time, but I really just want to go home right now and watch She's the Man!

The movie She's the Man is about a girl who plays soccer, but her school team got cut due to the school budget. Unfortunately, since the school team got cut she has nothing else to turn to. She gets this wonderful idea to pretend to act like her brother, go to his school, make the soccer team and then later on tell them who she is to prove that girls can do anything a boy can do. The movie is super great, it's honestly one of my favorites not only because it's funny, but also because it's a movie about what I love. Amanda Bynes who plays the soccer player, main character, knows just how to connect with her character and it makes the movie 50 times better.
I'm hoping to finish off this bad day I get asked to go home early get ahead on everything I have to do and be able to watch this movie. I'm pretty sure the movie will get me back up on my feet, if not I guess the day will end when I finally get the chance to go to sleep. If you guys watch the movie for the first time let me know what you think. Enjoy :)

What A Day...
My whole day today was just pretty relaxing. First period we worked on our projects and the second period I had to finish on my building project thing, but today our teacher decided to give us a break. During this time she allowed us to watch Cloverfield. For those who haven't seen the movie it's almost like a home movie... it's about a couple of people getting together and filming this video, but as it turns out the movie turns out to capture these monsters who take over Manhattan. The movie is pretty scary, it shows these really weird creatures that are not only taking over Manhattan, but are also killing people left and right.
The main characters unfortunately all day.. yes, I know I probably shouldn't have told you, but I just couldn't help myself. The movie is also really graphic so if you don't like to see blood or nasty things I suggest you really don't watch this movie. Over all, the movie is pretty good, but not on of my favorites at all. I actually hardly like it. The movie keeps you interested in seeing who it is that is making all this riot, but it has a weak ending and it's not that strong.
If you guys get around to watching the movie give me your feedback...

Inspiring...
Today I had the chance to see the movie Evan Almighty. For those of you that haven't seen it, it's with the same guy from The 40 Year Old Virgin. This movie is not quite as funny as 40 Year Old Virgin, but it does have it's parts. I enjoy this movie a lot because it has a great message behind it and the producer really knew how to sell the movie to the viewers.
The movie is about a Congressman who wants to make a difference in the world... just like everyone else. He has 3 kids and a wife and has just moved the all into a new neighborhood and a better one. One day he decides to ask God for help.. for God to guide him in the right path to really make a difference in the world and God did that. The Congressman quickly changes from a serious man to a man who is taken as a joke because no one believes God has really talked to Evan, or let alone is responsible for the beard and the "looking- a- like Noah." There was a point in the movie where even his kids and wife had turned on him and just couldn't believe what Evan was believing.
Evan Almighty is actually a great movie to learn some. This movie teaches all the viewers that family time is important and you should always be able to connect with your family because with out your family you really don't have much. Also, this movie teaches us that you can try and make a difference in the world by doing "ramdon acts of kindness." I've watched this movie plenty of times and everytime it really makes me realized that family is important and that you can start changing the world by starting with one ramdon act of kindness a day and you can see how it really does change someone.
This movie has great actors and actresses and a great lesson for all the viewers. I could honestly not love this movie anymore... if you have yet to seen it.... take sometime off enjoy the movie and hopefully let this movie be an example for you to be able to learn to be with our families and what not.
Here is a link to the youtube site where you can choose to watch some of the clips they have on Evan Almighty... they even have the movie trailer!:) Enjoy

Is it good?

Today was a slow day. We had an early release but @ 10:30 I had soccer practice with the Varsity team and while everyone was walking to their cars on their way home early I was warming up for my JV practice so things were going by so slow and the day seemed longer than usual. Of course I had to work so while I was @ worked I remembered that I rented that new movie called Wanted and I still hadn't seen it. I figured it would be a good plan for the rest of the night since I'm so tired from this long day.
Unfortunately,I'm just getting home from work so I haven't had time to watch the movie. I will probably not get around to it today because I have math homework to do and I'm way too tired to stay up and finish the movie. So this is where you guys come in. I'm pretty sure I'll get the chance to watch it tomorrow or something, but not 100% sure since Ihave a game this Saturday. Anyways, if anyone has seen this movie, can I please get some feedback? What do you guys think about the movie? Is it worth watching? Is it good?
If I actually get around to watching the movie tomorrow, I'll be sure to post my thoughts about it then. If it's bad please tell me,I won't waste my time with it.:)
Here's a link to what the critiques think about this movie and a bit of info about it....and even a trailer!

Tonight...
As I went through a long and stressful day I'm ready for some rest. After school I quickly had soccer practice and then straight to work and now I'm still here waiting for the clock to stike 8 for me to be able to go home. During the day I knew I was going to be worn out so I took sometime and thought about what I wanted to do tonight once I get home. I came up with a good idea... as soon as I get home I'll hop in the shower and chamge into some comfy clothe. After I change into my comfy clothe, I'll take out Sweet Home Alabama and la on my bed enjoy this movie until I fall asleep. It's a pretty good plan right?

So I first saw Sweet Home Alabama a pretty long time ago but immedetly fell in love with it. This is deffinetly a chick flick so if you're not a girl, you might enjoy it, but a girl wll enjoy it a lot more! The movie is about a girl who grew up in a small town and moved up to New York to live a more sucessful life when she was older. She got engaged to this great rich and famous guy, but was still married to her high school sweetheart back at home. The movie follows her trying to get the divorce papers signed and the old friends and family she gets to see after a long time. The ending is the best, it's a picture perfect ending. The movie was great, but I did cry at the end, only because the ending was so great.
Now that I have decided on my plans after work, I'll sit here @ work and work hard until the clock strikes 8 and head on my way home so i can enjoy the rest of my night watching one of my favorite movies!! Sweet Home Alabama... go watch it!!

What's New...
As the new hot action movie Trasporter 3 hit the theaters Friday the 26th, people stood in line just to sit and watch for an hour and 40 minutes. Is it as good as the others, or as good as expected? Yes, it's the 3rd Transporter and with the same main character Frank Martin, played by Jason Statham. Transporter 3 is a fast-paced action movie, which sold 18 million on the first week. The movie is very interesting and keeps you right on your toes with a change from the first 2 Transporters. The movie is high in action and keeps you wanting more and more.
I actually got the chance to see the movie Friday night and I felt like it was great. i thought the ending could've been a little better, but the movie is just as the reviews put it out... high in action and that's what I liked best about it. With Jason Statham still playing the roll of Frank Martin it just had me wanting to watch the movie that much more. He's a great actor and in the last 2 Transporters he's done a very good job following his character.
So, with the weak ending, does this mean a Transporter 4 is coming soon? I guess we'll have to just wait it out. If you like high action and intense movies this is the right one for you, go out and enjoy the movie. I really liked it so I hope you guys enjoy it too, let me know what you guys think if you get around to seeing it.

While @ Work
This morning I came into work a little earlier and as I was going through my normal routine, turning on the TV I stumbled across my favorite movie, Happy Feet! Since there were no customers in yet I decided to sit down and just watch the movie. The movie is great because it's so funny and it's just so cute. My favorite character in this movie would have to be Mumble, the main character, who is so adorable. If you have yet seen this movie, let me tell you that you are honestly missing out.
Happy Feet takes place in Antartica and if you are part of the town you know that if you can't sing you are a nobody. Unfortunately for Mumble that's his problem, instead of being born with a great voice to sign he was born dancing to his own tune, tap dancing. While his mom, Norma Jean, thinks it's a cute little habit, his dad, Memphis, thinks "it's just not penguin." Mumble never got his heartsong and was always excluded from the group because he was said to be "different." Mumbles friend/crush, Gloria, was a great singer, the best and always had a connection with Mumble, but because of his tap dancing she was a little distant. The movie continues to Mumble leaving town and meeting the Adelie Brothers who are just so funny. Happy Feet has a great ending, but I rather not tell you so you can see for yourself.
Since today is "Black Friday" take advantage of the huge sales and reduced prices and go to the mall. After buying everything you've found, take youself home and rest it up watching Happy Feet after a long day of walking and carrying heavy bags. Enjoy the movie with your family and friends or just yourself.:)

Thanksgiving Day!
It's Thanksgiving Day, enjoy all the time you have with your family and friends. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a great way to spend some time with the family, so take some time and sit and watch it with your family. Help out making the turkey and volunteer yourself to make something even if it doesn't turn out so good. I suggest dessert because it's easier to make. Take time and do something I couldn't do because I had to work all day!:)
If you find yourself with no plans and nothing to do, sit at home with a bag of popcorn and enjoy a Thanksgiving movie, directed by Jodie Foster called Home For The Holidays. It's a pretty old movie, came out in 1995, but enjoyable. It's about a lady who is coming home to her family for the holidays, but isn't having such a great time. She had just lost her job and her teenage daughter is planning to loose her virginity while her mom goes home to visit her family. Enjoy your time off and be grateful for what you have and don't have. Here's the link to a better description of the movie. Enjoy the time with your family and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

Let's Take It Back
Last night I spent some time with my little cousins and we ended up watching Finding Nemo about 3 times. After the second time I was sick of it, but honestly don't you think the movie is great? When the movie first come out I remember everyone talking about it, it was the best family movie out at the time. Finding Nemo has you laughing the entire time, but it also has it's emotional parts. The movie isn't new, but most people can still sit at home and enjoy this movie!

The movie overall is great, but I have to say my favorite part of the movie is when Dori joins in on the show. She keeps the crowd laughing at everything she says and makes the movie just that much better. If you have yet to seen this movie, let me tell you, you have missed a great one. Go out tonight to the nearest blockbuster and rent yourself Finding Nemo, you'll find yourself kicking it back and laughing it off.

Twilight?
As the movie Twilight came out teens were quickly on the run for the tickets. Of those who went to see the movie about 98% have read the book, but do they think the movie is as good as the book? The reviews are in! Most teens had something positive to say about the movie. The true "Twilighters" that have already seen the movie seem to really like it. Over the past weekend Twilight was the top seller, making over 60 million. As some find the movie ridiculous, nothing but a movie with vampires in it, some find interest in the guy who is playing the vampire roll, Robert Pattinson.

"The movie is lush and beautiful, and the actors are well-chosen," writes Roger Ebert. " Over all the movie is not too bad, but it is intended for the girls ages 15-17. The movie keeps you on your toes and wanting to watch more. As most of my friends have already seen the movie, they tell me it's best to read the book before I watch the movie. If I get the chance to watch the movie I'll be sure to fill you guys in and let you guys know!
