While @ Work

This morning I came into work a little earlier and as I was going through my normal routine, turning on the TV I stumbled across my favorite movie, Happy Feet! Since there were no customers in yet I decided to sit down and just watch the movie. The movie is great because it's so funny and it's just so cute. My favorite character in this movie would have to be Mumble, the main character, who is so adorable. If you have yet seen this movie, let me tell you that you are honestly missing out.

Happy Feet takes place in Antartica and if you are part of the town you know that if you can't sing you are a nobody. Unfortunately for Mumble that's his problem, instead of being born with a great voice to sign he was born dancing to his own tune, tap dancing. While his mom, Norma Jean, thinks it's a cute little habit, his dad, Memphis, thinks "it's just not penguin." Mumble never got his heartsong and was always excluded from the group because he was said to be "different." Mumbles friend/crush, Gloria, was a great singer, the best and always had a connection with Mumble, but because of his tap dancing she was a little distant. The movie continues to Mumble leaving town and meeting the Adelie Brothers who are just so funny. Happy Feet has a great ending, but I rather not tell you so you can see for yourself.

Since today is "Black Friday" take advantage of the huge sales and reduced prices and go to the mall. After buying everything you've found, take youself home and rest it up watching Happy Feet after a long day of walking and carrying heavy bags. Enjoy the movie with your family and friends or just yourself.:)

Thanksgiving Day!

It's Thanksgiving Day, enjoy all the time you have with your family and friends. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a great way to spend some time with the family, so take some time and sit and watch it with your family. Help out making the turkey and volunteer yourself to make something even if it doesn't turn out so good. I suggest dessert because it's easier to make. Take time and do something I couldn't do because I had to work all day!:)
If you find yourself with no plans and nothing to do, sit at home with a bag of popcorn and enjoy a Thanksgiving movie, directed by Jodie Foster called Home For The Holidays. It's a pretty old movie, came out in 1995, but enjoyable. It's about a lady who is coming home to her family for the holidays, but isn't having such a great time. She had just lost her job and her teenage daughter is planning to loose her virginity while her mom goes home to visit her family. Enjoy your time off and be grateful for what you have and don't have. Here's the link to a better description of the movie. Enjoy the time with your family and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

Let's Take It Back

Last night I spent some time with my little cousins and we ended up watching Finding Nemo about 3 times. After the second time I was sick of it, but honestly don't you think the movie is great? When the movie first come out I remember everyone talking about it, it was the best family movie out at the time. Finding Nemo has you laughing the entire time, but it also has it's emotional parts. The movie isn't new, but most people can still sit at home and enjoy this movie!
The movie overall is great, but I have to say my favorite part of the movie is when Dori joins in on the show. She keeps the crowd laughing at everything she says and makes the movie just that much better. If you have yet to seen this movie, let me tell you, you have missed a great one. Go out tonight to the nearest blockbuster and rent yourself Finding Nemo, you'll find yourself kicking it back and laughing it off.

Twilight?

As the movie Twilight came out teens were quickly on the run for the tickets. Of those who went to see the movie about 98% have read the book, but do they think the movie is as good as the book? The reviews are in! Most teens had something positive to say about the movie. The true "Twilighters" that have already seen the movie seem to really like it. Over the past weekend Twilight was the top seller, making over 60 million. As some find the movie ridiculous, nothing but a movie with vampires in it, some find interest in the guy who is playing the vampire roll, Robert Pattinson.

"The movie is lush and beautiful, and the actors are well-chosen," writes Roger Ebert. " Over all the movie is not too bad, but it is intended for the girls ages 15-17. The movie keeps you on your toes and wanting to watch more. As most of my friends have already seen the movie, they tell me it's best to read the book before I watch the movie. If I get the chance to watch the movie I'll be sure to fill you guys in and let you guys know!
